dancers reveal chapters of their story that may or may not
have happened in the past, present, or possibly the future.
The nature of human consciousness, marvels at the fact that
consciousness is continuous. |

BORN NEVER ASK
The piece stands for a
metaphore of the context and situation from its starting
point of creation. As human beings we are full of
ideas, emotions, thoughts, and experiences that shapes us
into who we actually are. From all the richness we
drew out aspects of every performer. A selection from
a huge range of possibilities creating a new born character
a character that has never been asked what to become but
found his/her identity in the process of creation. |

KITSUNE.
Kitsune is the Japanese
word for fox. foxes are a common subject of Japanese
folklore, Kistune usually refers to them in this context,
and are akin to European Faeries. Stories depict them
as intelligent beings and as possessing magical abilities
that increase with their age and wisdom. foremost among
these is the ability to assume human force............... it
is night. A daughter leaves her bedroom and creeps
downstairs to explore the formal room that her parents
forbid her to enter....... |

International Street Festival
in Liverpool , England, in concert square. They also
participated in the international performance to a full house
in collaboration with 140 artists from several
countries, directed by Rui Junior (Portugal - Toca Rufar) at
the Playhouse Theatre in Liverpool.

Mediterraneo -Il Mare che Unisce
A Choreography Award Dance Festival organised by Regione Liguria,
and held in Genoa, Italy.
The third edition 2000 under
the direction of Franco Bolletta, the prize 'Mediterraneo:
il mare che unisce' is to bring together all Mediterranean
countries to fuse their art and culture.
Contact Dance Company was selected
amongst 30 mediterranean countries amongst the 6 finalists,
Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Israel and Morocco.
CDC performed "CHOICES" at the Teatro Gustavo Modena
in October 2000.
